Olivia Eichholz, 18, College Station,Texas; Young Student Reportedly Passed away

College Station — An early morning crash on FM 60 has claimed the life of 18-year-old Olivia Eichholz, a high school senior whose death has left the Caldwell and College Station communities in mourning.

According to the College Station Police Department, the crash occurred Monday near Easterwood Airport. Investigators say Olivia’s vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic under circumstances that remain under review. She was pronounced dead following the collision.

Authorities have not yet determined what caused the vehicle to cross lanes, and the investigation is ongoing. Officials are continuing to examine roadway conditions and other possible contributing factors.

Olivia was a senior at IL Texas Aggieland High School, where she was known among classmates and teachers for her steady presence and positive spirit. She was just weeks away from graduation and had been preparing for the next chapter of her life.

A dedicated JROTC student, Olivia had plans to join the United States Air Force. Those who knew her say she approached her goals with discipline and purpose. She also had a strong interest in languages, studying both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish as part of her academic journey.

She is survived by her parents, Christopher and Christina, as well as her younger sister Natalie and brother Maxwell. Family and friends describe her as deeply connected to those she loved, especially her siblings.

In the days following the crash, a memorial has formed on campus, where students and staff have gathered to leave flowers and messages in her honor. The loss has also been felt at Aggieland Christian Church, where members remember her as kind, joyful, and compassionate.

As the investigation continues, the community is focusing on remembering Olivia for the life she lived—one marked by dedication, curiosity, and a genuine care for others.
