Ronald Wayne Bailes Obituary – Death, 

Mr. Ronald Wayne Bailes, age 82, of Bonifay, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on April 26, 2026.

Born on January 29, 1944, in Orlando, Ronald was the son of the late James Joel “Joe” Bailes and Bernice Gladys Holt Bailes. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Ray Bailes and James Howard “Bud” Bailes, and his sisters, Joyce Gunther and Elizabeth “Libby” Boroughs.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Judy Bailes; his sons, Ronald Bailes Jr. and wife Jennifer, and Mike Bailes and wife Kim; and his stepchildren, Deanna Powell and husband Ron, and Fred Baker Jr. He is also survived by his sister, Joann Turnage; his brother, Delbert G. Bailes and wife Elaine; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will continue to cherish his memory.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Peel Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Mt. Zion Independent Baptist Church.

Ronald Wayne Bailes will be remembered for his devotion to family and the life he built with those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
